Teocalli

An intense voxel-style first-person survival game with an elemental fighting system. As the Nagual, your purpose is to protect Teocalli, the temple of the Gods.

Teocalli is a temple composed of four sections, the tundra home to the Water Spirits, the plains home to the Earth Spirits, the Desert home to the Fire Spirit, and the Mountains, home to the Air Spirit. Your purpose is to protect them from them Corrupted Demons who seek to end you, and most importantly them. Use the power of the elements to fight them off, to master the elements and finally save the Elemental Spirits.

Lore

The Temple of the Gods is the fabric of reality that keeps everything together. Its stability is the stability of the Universe. It is the result of an eternal war between the God of Everything - Teotle and the Gods of Nothingness - Mictlan. 

A long time ago, amidst all the chaos, Teotle created the Four Elemental Gods: Tlaloc - the God of the Waters, Tlaltecuhtli - the God of the Earths, Huitzilopochtli - the God of Fires, and Quetzalcoatl - the God of the Airs. Together they ought to destroy Mictlan by creating Teocalli. To do so they summoned the Elemental Spirits, peaceful spirits whose purpose was to create the deserts, mountains, gardens, and tundras of the world. The more Teocalli grew, the harder and more powerful the fabric of reality became. But that was never enough to keep Mictlan away. After years of sleeping and waiting in the depths of the voids, Mictlan began summoning an opposite but equal force.

As soon as the Elemental Gods noticed the presence of the darkness, they came together on more time, in hopes to be enough to stop the force of Mictlan. With enough time, you should be able to Master the Power of the Gods: Water, Earth, Fire and Air. 

Choosing an Element

At the beginning of your journey, you have been given the opportunity to choose between the Four Elements: Water, Earth, Fire and Air. Choose wisely as your decision will determine your faith and the faith of reality. 

Water 

The element of change, well suited for all situations.

Earth

The element of substance, defensive yet powerful.

Fire

The element of power, deals tons of damage.

Air

The element of freedom, great mobility and adaptability.

Learning and Element

To learn an element fight the waves of Corrupted Demons. Figure out what each of your abilities does and how to use them to your advantage (You might find that some elements are better than others in certain situations ). Once You have enough experience and you master an element, You can begin your practice to learn another. Eventually, learning all the elements

Elemental Elders

For each element there is one Elemental Elder and they each keep the Teocalli from perishing. Their existence is fundamental to the fabric of reality. If all of them die, we become nothing. So protect them no matter how long it takes, even if it's eternity.

Elemental Spirits

The Elemental Spirits are summoned by the Elemental Elders, without their Elder, they cannot summon. Additionally, their health is the Elders health, so keep them alive to keep the Elemental Elders from perishing.

Corrupted Demons

The Corrupted Demons are beings of darkness summoned by the powerful God of Death and Nothingness: Mictlan. They will target you, the Elemental Spirits, and the Elemental Elders in order to destroy reality.
